
ACEGUARD BS
ECONOMICAL ACRYLIC BASED MULTIPURPOSE PRIMER
ACEGUARD BS is an acrylic based, single component primer for absorbent and porous substrates. It can be applied as a primer before many acrylic material application. It is also used as economical waterproofing system for protecting concrete & masonry.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Fresh masonry or concrete substrate must be allowed to cure for at least 14 days. Clean the area from all loose particles, oil, grease and any such deleterious materials. All surface cracks should be filled up with a paste of Cement and ACEGUARD BA mixed in ratio of 2:1 and applied using a trowel to seal the gaps.
APPLICATION
Mix 1 Kg Cement with 0.5 kg ACEGUARD BS in ratio of 2:1 .The mix should be stirred thoroughly until smooth homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply first coat over wet condition substrate. Apply and unroll woven glass fiber cloth evenly on the wet coating before it dries out on larger areas. Using a nylon brush, apply one coat of ACEGUARD BS coating over the glass fabric so as to cover the fabric, allow 5-6 hours of air drying before application of another coat of ACEGUARD BS slurry coating over the surface. Provide polymer modified protective plaster of 15-20 mm thick over the coating to ensure safety from mechanical damage.
For Modified mortar, add 10-15% of ACEGUARD BS by weight of cement to the prepared mix of cement and sand mortar in ratio of 1:3 and repair all the patch work as per the suitability of the job.
