ACEGUARD PRO-RF

FIBER REINFORCED HIGH SOLIDS ACRYLIC ROOF COATING WITH SILICON

ACEGUARD PRO-RF is a premium high solids fiber reinforced pure acrylic roof coating modified with silicone, which adheres tightly to most roofing substrates. It forms thick, high performance, water and weather resistant seal on most surfaces, usually without need of a primer coating. The coating dries faster as compared to other similar products, ensuring a quick and effective installation. Product will not crack, peel or blister even under severe weather conditions. The coating performance can be enhanced by providing a fiber mesh that is embedded or sandwiched between the coats. t is applied as a three-layer coating in different colors ensuring proper build-up of the film thickness.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Fresh masonry or concrete substrate must be allowed to cure for at least 14 days. Clean the area from all loose particles, oil, grease and any such deleterious materials. All surface cracks should be filled up with a paste of Cement and ACEGUARD BA mixed in ratio of 2:1 and applied using a trowel to seal the gaps. Ensure that the roof has minimum 1:80 slope before application of coating.

APPLICATION

After the proper surface preparation prime it using PRIMEBOND diluted in 2:1 ratio with water. Apply it as a single coat and let it dry for 12 hours. Stir ACEGUARD PRO-RF thoroughly before use. Apply first coat of ACEGUARD PRO-RF without any dilution using suitable paint roller or brush. Allow the first coat to cure for 6 to 8 hours. After the first coat is cured, apply second and third coat of ACEGUARD PRO-RF without any dilution in the direction perpendicular to first coat. To achieve best results, embed waterproofing grade fiberglass mesh in primer coat to reinforce the coating and also to protect crack prone areas like column edges, parapet edges, corners etc. In case only two colors are being used, ensure that the colour of the first and the third coat are the same. Allow the system to air cure for 7 days minimum.
